Installation
Here at the Open Fire Centre we do everything from supply only to full installation, building work and project management . All our installation staff are fully qualified HETAS and Gas Safe Engineers so you can rely on a professional and technically correct installation to current UK Document J Building Regulations.

Service and Maintenance
In January we launched Privilege Servicing. This service is available for everyone, with preferential terms for customers who bought their appliances from the Open Fire Centre. We will provide an annual service & clean up to help make your appliance look and perform as new. This service will also extend the Warranty for a second year with most manufacturers.
Privilege card entitles existing clients to a discount on spares, accessories and servicing. So Please feel free to contact us to book your servicing requirements today.

Chimney Solutions
From specifying and dropping liners to design and installation of full Fluing Systems, Open Fire Fluing Systems are becoming more and more popular. We work with UK based Flue Companys to produce a made to measure chimney system suitable for wood, multi fuel or gas, this system can be even painted to your individual colour choice. So if your dream is always to own a woodburner and you dont have a chimney, we can help make this dream a reality whether in a kitchen, living room or conservatory our qualified engineers can make it happen.

Flame Academy.
Try before you buy is the key phrase here. We will show you how to light a stove, what you can and cannot burn and also how to get the best results with your new woodburning or multifuel appliance. This can be seen every Saturday in our Durham Showroom at 9.30am without appointment but we also run individual classes by prior arrangement.

Open Fire Centre Fuel.
Due to the fact a stove is only as good as the fuel you burn, we offer Kiln Dried Wood both in bulk and by the bag. We also stock Kindling and Firelighters, Smokeless and Clinker Free Solid Fuel which is 30% recycled materials. For convenience we stock Blazer Logs, Blazer Blocks and Hotties which are all eco friendly and from sustainable sources. We try where ever possible to supply fuels that are Carbon Neutral and have a low environmental impact.

Our Staff
During your visit to the showroom we are always looking at ways to save you money. Our staff are well trained and most are qualified HETASWe do this by asking how you heat your house and what fuels you use to do this. Our staff will then advise on the correct appliance to to the job but also our aim is to save you between 20 - 30% of your heating bill.

Trade Sales
Dealing Direct with most major Stove, Fire and Range Cooker manufacturers we have built up a loyal trade base. We are happy to quote for individual projects or supply appliances on a direct basis as required. With both the Manufacturer's and our extensive technical backup available to support all of our products as needed.
